In less than a month, I am going to have another semester of university under my belt. Since the end of this semester will mark the end of my first year in university, I am actually quite excited about having the summer off so that I can recharge my batteries and be ready to kick off my second year in the fall. Because it is difficult to find short term housing during the summer, I will be spending mine with my parents back at home. The great thing about going home to live with your parents for the summer is that you get to slack off and have them do laundry for you once again (instead of worrying about it yourself).

I may have given you the idea that my university semester is completely over, but as you may have guessed, I do have all of my final examinations to take. In spite of the fact that I have several buddies who are absolutely dreading the prospect of taking their final examinations, I have already put in a lot of time studying, so I couldn’t feel any better about my own. Because I am feeling good about my final examinations, I have already planned a little treat for myself this summer. Once I move back home to Bristol, I am taking an old friend with me and we are picking up a Bristol car rental I reserved. Our purpose in reserving a Bristol car rental is to use it for a week to take a road trip that we have planned out. The great thing about my friend is that although we go to different universities, as soon as we see each other, we pick up like we never left off, which is why this road trip will be so much fun.
