Despite the extensive business traveller facilities at the Bristol Airport, lounges, meeting rooms, and restaurants, there are no hotels located onsite at the airport itself. There are, however, a number of three and four-star hotels close at hand. Most convenient to the airport terminal is the three-star Holiday Inn that is less than a mile away and offers a shuttle service between it and the Bristol Airport.

For other hotels or locations, Checkers Cars is the dedicated taxi service for Bristol Airport. Bookings can be made online or at the airport for their 24 hour a day, 7 day a week service to wherever you need to go. There are also five national car-hire companies onsite with offices next to the airport terminal. Europcar, National, Hertz, Avis, and Enterprise Rent-a-Car provide competitive rates for a short stay or long-term car hire.

Of the four-star hotels available near the Bristol Airport, the Doubletree by Hilton Bristol South-Cadbury House is only just over four miles from the airport and the Marriott Bristol Royal and the Jurys Bristol Hotel are just 6.4 miles. Both are located on Bristol’s historic river waterfront and the Marriott is next to Bristol Cathedral. Other four-star hotels in Bristol centre include the Mercure Bristol Holland House Hotel and Spa, the Novotel Bristol Centre, and The Grand by Thistle Bristol, a refurbished Victorian hotel whose origins date back to 1869.

Even the more economical hotel chains around the area that make the three-star list include the Best Western Leigh Park Hotel, a classical Georgian country house, and the Ramada Plaza Bristol City Hotel. You also have the choice of the City Inn Bristol, which overlooks Temple gardens and is situated next door to the British and Commonwealth Museum.
